I had been looking all over the nation for a specific package on a used Toyota 4Runner. After much searching, negotiating and frustration, I ended up seeing one one the Peachtree Dodge website. I have purchased a few vehicles over the years sight unseen, and it can be a harrowing process. Truly, in the global market of today the wide availability of vehicles at competitive pricing can be a benefit to the buyer- except that until you see, touch, hear the car- you really don’t know if you are getting what you pay for; or more likely PAYING for what you didn’t get. This vehicle was for my wife. I had a set of guidelines and must haves, with a list of ‘nice to haves’ (which mean- must haves- in the interpretation of husband/wife speak). That said, once I located the vehicle at the Dodge dealership I sent an inquiry. Chase Hopkins was my salesperson. I could not have asked for a more engaged and responsive person. He was very upfront with the negotiation process, fair and clearly communicated the price compared to value. He thoroughly inspected the vehicle and gave me a detailed report, and went as far as having their team of vehicle re-conditioning folks go back over the few blemishes. The price negotiation was fair and quick. (At one point in my life I sold cars, so I am familiar with the chess match, strategy and effort to part the buyer from their money). I felt fairly treated. I asked if Chase would meet me at the airport, ATL. He gladly accepted. Although I was in Birmingham at the time, my work schedule would have put me in Atlanta a few days after the purchase. Chase went the extra mile and delivered the vehicle to me in Bham. It is not everyday a buyer gets a dealership that is fair and a salesperson that makes the experience pleasant!Chase is a great guy- ask for him when you go in the store or call on the phone. Went with my daughter yesterday evening for her to look at a Jeep Compass. She ended up buying it! Tristen went above to help her and he was very polite and he was awesome to talk with and have him help her. Jeff in the finance department also went above to help her and made sure he explained all the forms to her and made sure she understood everything. Both men helped so much and the experience was so good and very smooth. You both made her first experience in buying a vehicle smooth and very pleasant!!
