James Putnam was wonderful. Great service and was not pushy at all. Sold with knowledge and confidence. I would highly recommend James and Newnan Peachtree Dodge.

I was passing through south of Atlanta on a Saturday morning when my check engine light came on with a warning that my max speed would be reduced to 5mph in 120 miles. I stopped at a large Ram dealer just south of the city to get it checked out. Friendly staff there, however, they had no Diesel tech on duty and said they could not even look at the truck. Someone pointed me in the direction of Newnan with the advice “go there, it’s a really good dealership”. I took the strangers advice and I’m glad I did, with 27 miles to spare, Hollie, in service, calmly told me not to worry, they could fix it. She pushed me to the front of the line and got my truck right in, within a half hour, my trucks software was updated which cleared the trouble code. The tech told me he had the parts in stock to fix something else (I can’t remember what) if I could spare an hour or so. I don’t typically leave reviews, but it’s the least I can do for this great crew. I live in Chicago where our mechanics union spent most of the summer on strike. Absolutely nothing ever gets done around here in a couple hours, except maybe paperwork, and nothing ever seems to be in stock. After lousy service, I usually get an emailed survey, which I don’t bother filling out. As they say, if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all. I was hoping a survey would come along for this visit, but it hasn’t, so I’m posting here. You have a real gem of a store there. Thanks again

The ladies that work the desk at your service department are the most rude and disrespectful I have ever come across in a customer service centered business. Telling people after the fact that a repair is not covered under the vehicle’s warranty then charging the individual $110 is ludicrous. Even more appalling is when I ask why and the girl tells me “we have to pay our taxes.” Throw on top of that, another customer is trying to have a conversation at the end of the counter with the other service department girl. The customer is upset about being at the dealership for 4 hours for an oil change. Service department girl pulls her cell phone out mid-conversation, calls someone (I would assume her friend because she answers the caller with “hey”) then opens her lunch and starts chewing her food while never making eye contact with the customer. Needless to say, I will never be back to this dealership again. Oh and by the way, that $950 repair you wanted to perform on my truck, it took me 30 minutes when I got home to disassemble the door panel and fix the broken retaining clips. It’s too bad I can’t post pics on here otherwise I’d show you how easy it was. All you had to do was tell me Tuesday afternoon when I dropped the truck off that this repair and the other door handle repair would not be covered by the “top of the line” Mopar extended warranty. Instead, you made me call you 11 times between Wednesday afternoon and Thursday morning to find out any status at all and then you made ME call Mopar to check to see if the parts were covered under warranty anyways. Also, another thing you’re probably not aware of, after 3 minutes on hold with the service department, your phone will automatically transfer to the front reception desk. The lady on that phone was very helpful in trying to track the service department girls down even if they never call you back. Maybe the sales team is what keeps this dealership going but me and all my friends with Ram trucks will be going someplace else from now on.Update: Bruce from the management team reached out and apologized and offered to make everything right. Thank you Bruce for taking the initiative to call. I can’t thank you enough!
